Nigerian by nationality with a Pan-African business experience and a global outlook and approach to business, in his current position, Bassey has spent the last four years as the founder/CEO Rom-Flex Technologies, increasing and expanding its business in Nigeria, Africa and beyond, most notable is the ‘Roll-Out Immigration e-Passport, setting up the largest e-library and e-learning hub in East Africa (MUBS Uganda)
As an IT guru, Bassey started his first business venture, an IT company at the age of 21 and has since become a formidable force in the African IT and Enterprise Business Solutions space. Raised in the federal capital territory of Nigeria, he was awarded best student in the West African Secondary School Examination (WAEC), Bassey went on to the University of Ilorin where her studied Computer Science and a second degree in Applied Physics from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, LAUTECH.
Beyond being a System Analyst by qualification, he is also a serial entrepreneur and Innovator, founding different companies, amongst which is online retail shopping platform, PayPorte, creating job opportunities for a young diverse group of people.
A calculated risk taker with deep tech industry knowledge, he has championed services to his many businesses and enterprise, developing software for revenue collection by various State Governments in Nigeria and introducing the e-receipt system for the Akwa Ibom state, establishing electronic voters registration for the Nigerian Government.
Mr B has he is fondly called, has been a silent yet salient business force in the IT space, adding tremendous value to business, both private and public ventures, while motivating a younger generation through his exemplary business expertise. He finds his greatest motivation in coaching others to perform above and beyond expectations.
In addition, Bassey is also a Honorary citizen of Dallas Texas and an Alumni of London Buisness School, Havard Buisness School & Massachusettes Institute Of Technology.
